GUIDELINES FOR GRANTS
The Mission of the Guilford Foundation is to Òconnect people who care with causes that matter to themÓ to enrich the quality of life in Guilford; now and for generations to come.
The Guilford Foundation was established as a public foundation to enrich the quality of life in GuilfordÉforever. We fulfill our mission by building and maintaining a charitable endowment and making prudent grants that serve to address the ever-changing needs of the Guilford community.
Our Current Focus Areas: include arts & culture, education, workplace mentoring, the environment, human services, safer communities, heritage enhancement, and economic opportunity.
Our grant awards typically range up to $5,000. However, larger requests are considered within context of the projectÕs likely impact on a focus area and the FoundationÕs overall grant budget.
Please contact Stephen Page, Chair of the Grant Review Committee, at 203-453-9031 or spage04@snet.net, with questions regarding the grant guidelines or application process.
