Part of The Guilford Foundation’s mission is to ensure that the quality of life in Guilford remains strong and vibrant, which means supporting those organizations that make a difference in the everyday lives of our citizens. To that end, TGF was pleased to work with the Women & Family Life Center (W&FL) to establish our first Agency Endowment, a permanent legacy fund that creates annual income for W&FL in perpetuity.
The Guilford Foundation was surprised and pleased to be recognized by the Guilford Chamber of Commerce as the 2012 Service Organization of the Year.
We were thrilled to be awarded alongside such other worthy honorees, and we accepted the award in January 2013 on behalf of our donors and funds whose vision and generosity drive the good work of the Guilford Foundation.
We hope this is just the beginning of what we can accomplish for Guilford!
To help promote “Foundations Fuel Families,” an effort to raise funds for Guilford Social Services for families who need energy assistance, Liza Janssen Petra was interviewed on February 11, 2012 on Good Morning Connecticut.
