Guilford Savings Bank Fund

Guilford Savings Bank (GSB) has been deeply rooted in the Guilford community for over 135 years. One of the core tenets of the Bank is to give back to the communities it serves. GSB employees have committed thousands of community service hours in support of local community events and charitable organizations over the years. GSB further stands behind its commitment to the community by providing generous financial donations to the same worthy causes, as well as scholarships to college bound high school seniors.
In May 2009, GSB established the Scholarship Fund of the Guilford Savings Bank, a perpetual high school scholarship fund exclusively for Guilford High School students, to be overseen by The guilford Foundation, Inc., Margaret Livingston, President and CEO of GSB, stated that the Bank “seized the opportunity to align itself and The Guilford Foundation, Inc. for one common cause – the education and betterment of the Guilford community, now and for generations to come.”
